Unlike the sprightly residents, Henry appeared less agile, with his fur bearing the marks of time in its gray patches and rough texture.
The idea of the dog spending his remaining years in such a manner deeply affected Zack, who couldn’t bear the notion. As soon as March rolled around, he stepped forward, offering to be Henry’s new caretaker. His aim was simple: to provide Henry with companionship and exciting new adventures.
