After more than two decades of retirement, Eugene Bostick found himself feeling a bit lonely. It was then that he decided to welcome a stray puppy into his life.

In Fort Worth, Texas, there exists a sad reality where stray dogs are often abandoned. Witnessing their plight, Eugene couldn’t bear to see them suffer from hunger, cold, and most importantly, a lack of love. Thus, he began adopting one dog after another, providing them with the care and affection they so desperately needed.

Eugene lovingly bestows names upon each of his puppies, tenderly bathing them with affectionate strokes and friendly pats on their heads, fostering a unique means of communication with his beloved companions.

However, as the pack of canines multiplied, Eugene encountered mounting difficulties in managing their walks, prompting the inception of an innovative solution: the train.

Several times each week, Eugene embarks on excursions with the dogs under his care, either traversing the neighborhood or exploring the woodland paths, all from the comfort of their custom-built, miniature train carriage outfitted with harnesses.

Guiding the dogs into their individual crates, Eugene leads them on strolls through the community or along woodland trails, a routine eagerly anticipated by the pups who revel in the serenity of Eugene’s sprawling 12-acre farm. Here, amidst a menagerie of ducks, geese, tortoises, bunnies, goats, and birds, the dogs find solace and joy, cherishing these moments as the highlight of their day.
