During a recent marathon in Bangkok, Thailand, her attention was diverted by a puppy in need on the roadside, prompting her to halt and prioritize compassion over competition.

As she neared the end of the race, her eyes caught sight of a tiny puppy, and her heart swelled with an overwhelming urge to rescue it. Unable to resist, she halted her stride, scooped up the helpless creature, and cradled it in her arms, determined to carry it to safety throughout the remainder of the marathon. Instead of prioritizing her own speed, she made the compassionate choice to run alongside the puppy until they both crossed the finish line, forging an unbreakable bond along the way.

Following the race’s conclusion, they swiftly returned to where the puppy had been discovered, hoping to find its kin or mother, but their search proved futile. With a sense of responsibility and affection, Khemjira decided to bring the puppy home with her, ensuring it would have a loving forever home.
