Shelter Dog Put In ‘Jail’ After Destroying Office, Gets Bailed Out By New Forever Family

The mischievous escapades of a shelter canine under the cloak of darkness might have initially cast him into the confines of “doggy jail,” yet his antics ultimately paved the way for an unforeseen tale of joy.

Titan, a spirited male husky entrusted to the Colbert County Animal Shelter in Alabama, stirred up quite a commotion for the shelter staff just the other day.

Shelter Director Corey Speegle informed WAFF that Titan had manipulated the latch on his kennel, enabling him to escape and cause chaos in the shelter’s front office.

“Upon receiving a call from the alarm company, we were informed of multiple interior alarms being triggered once more,” Speegle recounted. “Initially, I speculated it might be a minor issue, possibly a rodent. To our surprise, it turned out to be none other than a mischievous husky.”

The extent of the havoc became apparent only upon the staff’s arrival on Tuesday morning. As stated in a Facebook update, the husky had apparently “hosted an impromptu gathering,” resulting in the destruction of the computer system, as well as critical files and paperwork.

Titan, as per reports, managed to liberate two of his canine companions, although they failed to accompany him to the lobby. The aftermath of the incident reportedly necessitated a day-long cleanup operation, resulting in a delay in the facility’s opening.

Following his escapade, Titan found himself confined in what could be described as “doggy jail,” albeit with the hope lingering in the shelter that a forever family would come forward to rescue him.

The four-year-old husky had recently been surrendered by his previous owner, according to WAFF. Despite his penchant for mischief, he was noted for his amiable disposition towards shelter staff. They recognized him as a gentle soul deserving of a caring home.

“He’s a darling pup, unless you’re made of paper,” chuckled the shelter staff.

In a surprising turn of events, despite Titan’s mischievous antics, he received some wonderful news: he found a loving home!

Maybe it was the buzz surrounding his “run-in,” but a seasoned family decided to open their hearts to this misbehaving troublemaker.
